"my current work, presents what i consider to be an architectural / industrial "echo". working on drafting mylar, and canvas, using wax ,graphite, oil pastel and paint... topographical environments and reliquaries are created, nurturing my preoccupations with place, time, detritus and the human imprint of texture onto the natural scape." christopher kier....Jan 2012
kier bases his art making in his downtown Toronto studio, currently developing new works on canvas and mylar encorporating elements of our architectural heritage into his ongoing "Domus" series.
